About D#sus4

The notes of D#sus4 are D# (root), G# (perfect fourth) and A# (perfect fifth). Its interval formula is 1 – 4 – 5. With no third, the perfect fourth asks to resolve; it is very common right before the major or minor chord on the same root.

D#sus4 has no standard open shape in the CAGED system, so its 22 voicings are sorted only by difficulty and position on the neck. D#sus4 is also written as Ebsus4: the same chord with the root spelled differently, and it sounds identical. The more common spelling is Ebsus4.
