About Fsus2
Fsus2 is built from three notes: F (root), G (second) and C (perfect fifth). In scale degrees above the root, the formula is 1 – 2 – 5. It is a suspended chord: it swaps the third for the second, so it is neither major nor minor and sounds open and floating.
Fsus2 has no standard open shape in the CAGED system, so its 25 voicings are sorted only by difficulty and position on the neck.
